DeviantArt artist Jian Guo has several Tolkien inspired images. Now someone just has the job of creating a stained glass window of these images, very cool. Once again I”m blown away by the talent out there. I’ve got a couple more images after the jump.
This is coming up pretty soon and will be showing in front of The Hobbit in IMAX. Here is IMAX’s site that lists theaters that will be showing the clip. You know you are going to see The Hobbit, why not check out this out as well?
Rolling Stone has the full soundtrack for The Hobbit available for streaming on their site. Obviously the soundtrack has a similar tone to The Lord of the Rings. Head on over to RollingStone.com and give it a listen.
The Hobbit will be hitting theaters on December 14th.
I don’t think I realize how much footage of a movie I’m seeing in different trailers… until someone does something like this. After the jump we have a video of seven and a half minutes of edited footage from different trailers of Peter Jackson’sThe Hobbit. I suppose compared the run time of almost three hours seven isn’t a while lot.
Cool Urban Ad for ‘The Hobbit’ in NYC
Walmart has a great deal on a pre-order of The Lord of the Rings trilogy on blu-ray for $9.96 and about $2 shipping. This also comes with $10 of movie cash for The Hobbit. Granted this is the theatrical version not the extended version but for a couple bucks after considering the movie cash this is a decent deal.
New Fun Poster for ‘The Hobbit’
The Hobbit has a slightly more whimsical tone than The Lord of the Rings. Many have expressed concerns that Peter Jackson won’t entertain that feeling from the book. If this poster is any sign, I think some of those fears can be laid to rest. You definitely want to check out the entire image after the jump.
We’ve been building up to this trailer for the last week. Today iTunes has the trailer available. I mentioned it yesterday but what we are seeing is much of what we have come to expect from Peter Jackson and the world he has cinematically created for this and for The Lord of the Rings.
This new image has been released of Martin Freeman as Bilbo Baggins. The image, I would assume, is when Bilbo visits Rivendell. The picture looks fantastic, much of what we have come to expect from Peter Jackson and this series. The newest trailer should be out tomorrow, I’m excited to see it.
The image is much bigger click it to get the full size.
Lots of New Images from ‘The Hobbit’
A plethora of new images of the characters from Peter Jackson’s The Hobbit based on Tolkien’s book have surfaced online. Pretty much all the pictures are characters shots like the one seen above. Check out more info on the rest after the jump.
